With 26 years of experience in technology for East Baton Rouge schools, Jeffery Harrison currently serves as the Director of Network Operations, overseeing critical areas including network security, infrastructure, security cameras, and servers.

His innovative approach helped spark the esports movement across the district, leading to 57% of schools adopting esports programs within just three years. Jeffery also founded the East Baton Rouge Esports League, creating a competitive and student-centered pathway for schools across the region.

In 2024, he was appointed Executive Director of the Louisiana Scholastic Esports Federation, where he is focused on expanding scholastic esports across the state and connecting students to leadership, competition, STEM, broadcasting, production, cybersecurity, and career-connected learning opportunities.
